Range Rover Evoque Convertible to be unveiled in November

The Range Rover Evoque Convertible has been previewed with a series of six full scale computer wire models, ahead of the car's official unveiling next month. The wire mock ups were distributed in several London locations enabling the public to have the opportunity to see how the Evoque Convertible will look in its natural environment. The Evoque Convertible will go on sale in 2016 and is expected to be displayed for the first time at the LA Motor show.

The wire models give an accurate representation of the aesthetics of the Evoque Convertible which includes 3D wheels and wire formed seats. Gerry McGovern, the design boss of JLR, stated 'The Range Rover Evoque Convertible is perfectly suited to the urban surroundings of a city like London and it is the perfect place to showcase the world's first luxury compact SUV convertible.

During this year's Geneva Motor Show, Land Rover confirmed the Range Rover Evoque Convertible by releasing official pictures of a test car being driven through the tunnels of the Crossrail project currently being constructed beneath London

The production of the Evoque will be manufactured alongside the five door coupe and will get revised rear-end styling, with the most prominent addition being a rear mounted lip spoiler.
